I AM SO EXCITED TO FINALLY ANNOUNCE THIS!

Every day in August, a new TRANS 101 video will come out!!! I've been working on this non-stop for 3 months and I'm so glad it's all come together and I was able to pull it off! Look out for a new video every morning in August. Each video talk about a different topic related to transition and trans people. These videos will be in a playlist that you will be able to give friends, families, partners, etc, to inform them about certain aspects of transition.

I tried to make this series very basic, but there are some topics that are a little more complicated. I know y'all are so excited for the next videos, but be patient ;) every day, a new one will be posted at 8am EST! Let me know what you think <3

- Day 1 Day 2424 Today I've been feeling up and down. Loved and ignored. Happy and sad. No matter what I've been feeling I will always be grateful in one thing: trusting myself. I am so happy with the person I am today, 2424 days into hormone therapy, and I thank that little boy in the first picture who had the courage to do something I am still in shock of. I was scared and depressed before day 1 but I found a community of people online who supported me and will forever attribute the bravery I had on that day (June 16th, 2010) when I started hormones, to them. Since then the community has grown into something beautiful and I am so blessed to be part of it. Now it's my turn to help people and it feels amazing that everyday I look online and what I've always wanted has happened. I've always just wanted to help people and be a resource for them. Here I am, 6.5 years into this, and feeling so fulfilled by the work that I do. Helping people is what I am meant to do and maybe this comparison will help people, maybe some people will hate it. But I'm so proud of who I am today and even though I feel low, ignored, and sad. I'll always have the feeling of love and happiness by my side, especially coming from you guys, the amazing online trans community that we all built together. ❤🐝

Talking to my mom about LaVerne Cox tonight. She somehow had no idea who she is. So as I'm explaining who she is, what she's done, how great of a voice she represents for the trans community. She interrupts and goes "Oh is she a trans?" Hugeeee face palm moment. Just patter her on the shoulder and said "ohhhh..oh mommy no" she can't wrap her mind around the proper way to shorten transgender lol. Moms a great advocate, now we gotta work on terminology lol.

One year ago vs. today! @ash.arsenault and I met at the Philly Trans Health Conference last year and I ran up to him because he bought one of the shirts I made online (#bravetran). The best part is that we had been talking before this and planning to be roommates AND I DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT WAS HIM. Ah yes, what a great story lol I feel like such an asshole still. LOVE ME ASH!
