Theory (I don’t know if maybe someone already thought about this) : Maybe the deal Nicole made with Mam has something to do with her killing the latest Earp heir. (Wynonna)

But of course she doesn’t really wanna do this, Wynonna is her best friend ... but she made the deal for Waverly... to get the love of her life back.

In the promo for 4x05 Wynonna says something along the lines of “ she isn’t coming ... not after what you did” ...maybe it’s real life or it’s just a nightmare either way Nicole is full of guilt.

Maybe they break the curse (I mean they always do in the end) ... but with the conditions of the deal ... Waverly is not able to forgive Nicole for wanting to kill her sister. Even if it was to get Waverly back.

(It’s possible that this is posessed Nicole (that is trying to kill Wynonna) who Waverly wants to shoot.)
