RHONY is struggling. The cast isn't quite right (though I think we gotta let them cook) and there's something lacking from most of the episodes, even when they have strong moments.

Personally I feel grossed out by Erin, the z*onist who donated to the tr*mp campaign while having the audacity to come on camera talking about how planned parenthood saved her and abortion access matters. BABY!! YOU BASICALLY GAVE $$ TO HELP OVERTURN ROE V WADE??

And then they brought a scientologist on who keeps saying it's just a chill life philosophy, and maybe you just need to ♡do your own research♡ about it. And I want to take a giant push broom and sweep her off stage so I never have to hear her talk again. Your church has had status as a recognized religion since the 90s!! In spite of this, if I have to see one more person say we need to bring back the OG cast I'm going to turn into a fire spitting hell demon and burn the network to the ground?? The final seasons of the original RHONY were painful, the last one especially, and we went from acknowledging that at the time, calling LuAnn and Ramona in particular rude, oblivious, and racist for the way they treated and talked about their first black cast member then to now saying they need to come back?? Ramona in particular hasn't grown or changed at all (if anything she's gotten worse). I'm so sick of people forgetting how awful some of these women are once they're not on screen. Yes I understand you want to go back to deer in the headlights Ramona walking down the runway or "if you don't like me, acquire some taste," Ramona. I wish we could!

But that time is over. Ramona is a glad of milk someone left out, at first a fun science experiment and now a horrifying mass of mold and solidified goo. She's not cute. She's not funny. She's nasty.

She also lives at Mar-a-Lago! And Sonya bought a condo in Florida once her townhouse sold. Dorinda turns into a drunken monster once she's on camera and Lu is actually best delivered in small doses-- cabaret shows and WWHL appearances.

The RHONY we have isn't the one we want or need BUT it's better than the one we had before. We gotta accept the change and hope for better.

Below Deck Med is entertaining me this season even though we're only 2 episodes in, and the number one thing I love is the ACCENTS.
