Fairly even contest with both teams looking particularly sharp with fluid passing and cutting runs on all sides of the field. Willian, D. Costa, and Hulk look good up front but still look like they need sharper focus up front. Oscar has disappeared over the length of the half and up till now has been very disappointing. It may be time to understand Coutinho as first choice and Oscar as his backup. Marquinhos gets the call up for the injured D. Luiz and it’ll be a trial by fire to keep the Chileans at bay. This game still has a lot to offer and both teams look like they are close to scoring. Should be a great 2nd half. - tB

das brasilien-match war intensiv und spannend zwecks der nerven-schlacht und der elfer-gaude. mister webb hat ja alle zeimlich dreinfahrn lassen, somit wunderte mich fast, dass nejmar den letzten elfer überhaupt noch treten konnte. er konnte, und wie sonst sollte es sein – es war der aufstieg! julio cesar war gerührt und fast rührend zu gleich ... jetzt liegt sich ein teil des landes in den armen ... im anderen teil des landes liegen die armen. gespalten meine gefühöe nach wievor.
