Brawl Busters
Official release: December 15, 2011 Servers closed: September 4, 2013 Brawl Busters was a third person brawler, developed by SkeinGlobe and published by Rock Hippo. It was a class based game, with classes based on Firefighters, Baseball Players (Slugger), Football Players (Blitzer), Rock Stars (Rocker, and Boxers. It was very fast paced with multiple attacks for each class, including combos, and super attacks, as well as the ability to sprint, jump, sometimes double jump, and dodge. You could also smash objects in the environment to obtain items such as bombs, poison, incapacitating jellies, and invisibility. Gameplay was teambased or free for all, and entirely focused on kills. You could deal damage to "Kiosks" which would provide bonuses for the entire team, such as speed up, defense, healing, and sometimes damage buffs. It also included PVE where you fought hordes of zombies, or a giant pink chef golem known as "Bubble Yum". It was notable for its style, being very colourful and funky, with bouncing buildings, amusement park rides, and hazards like out of control cars, giant rolling pinballs and lava pits. The gameplay was solid originally, but in an update that added new weapons, the gameplay became unbalanced as the new weapons damage values were highly broken, one of them allowing kiosks to be "locked", disallowing anyone else to gain the bonuses. The fall of the game was a downwards spiral of bad choices on the developers and publishers part. The servers finally went down after the developers disappeared suddenly, abandoning the game, and leaving it in a broken state.
