ummmm my new #thing.... Master Razlo AU of sorts....

wolfwood’s assassination attempt on chapel was actually successful here and the eye in the immediate aftermath of losing the man who was really the only one capable of getting a good reign on one of their best and most dangerous operatives kind of scramble to assign razlo the status of Master to both assuage her grief and keep her loyal to them because of how lethal and big a resource sink she is, because without chapel she has no real tether to the eye as her loyalty was so particular to him (and to livio above all else)

and then she is basically assigned to hunt down wolfwood (the big traitor) and it’s extremely personal to razlo because she’s grieving chapel entirely without the devastating cataclysmic reveal that he never really cared about her and only wanted to use her for his own means as it all plays out in vol 10. no attempt on her and livio’s life, no realisation chapel was fully willing to kill her after everything she’s done for him just for the chance to get at wolfwood -- her master’s just dead now and wolfwood’s still alive and she’s Very Very angry about it
