You don’t have to be waving a “I hate transfems” sign to be transmisogynistic. Anon actually says nothing about their preferences for a person’s “anatomy” [I assume you’re meaning genitals or sex characteristics], they only say they are attracted to people of numerous different genders, as long as they’re “afab”.

That means nothing. People who were AFAB can have penises, can have vaginas, can be men, can have no genitals at all. It means nothing except “I’m not attracted to people I’ve decided were AMAB”, which is a HUGE variety of people that have all different “anatomy” and genders.

So it’s not a gender preference, because people who were AMAB can be all genders and it’s not an “anatomy preference”, because people who were AMAB can also have all different types of anatomy. So what is it?

It’s someone admitting they have a bunch of prejudice and pre-conceived notions of what “AMAB” people are and specifically dating people of numerous genders, including trans folks, but excluding the majority of transfems.

That is transmisogynistic. And you could call it a preference, the same way you could call it a “preference” when people refuse to date fat people or trans people or Black people. Or we could be upfront and call it out for its blatant and open bigotry.

It’s also what is called a “dogwhistle”, when people are saying something bigoted but use specific phrasing to try to pretend they’re not; it sounds “okay” to people who aren’t familiar with the bigotry, sounds great to people who love that bigotry and makes the targets of that bigotry immediately aware they are unsafe.
