Welcome to ... BrawlTale! New AU, which no one expected. It came out quite spontaneously and was originally intended as a joke, but I liked the idea so much that I decided to interpret it in my own way and do something more. And the first character ...
Meet - Pam (-riel, call as you please), the keeper of the ruins of the city, formerly called Gearwheelton. Once the most advanced city in the world under the ground, equipped with the best technology and the most beautiful castle in the other side of the city. Well, more precisely it was once such. Now the castle is half-ruined, and Pam has to repair it periodically, in which her ability to control metals helps. Over time, all the monsters left the city, and Pam weakened, but then the young adventurer, Jesse, passed through the jungle of chains and beams. Curious and willing to show herself, the girl decided to help the old woman (pfft) and after a few days of hard work and delicious food, the royal castle was partially restored. "Enough. You helped me a lot, taught me some useful things, and I’m extremely grateful for that, kid." "Some useful things" include basic knowledge of electronics, which, in conjunction with magic, made it possible to create something like a healing turret, which Pam safely used to help Jess reach the passage to another part of the dungeon. Realizing her duty as a guardian, before parting, Pam made a small gift for her little friend, a slightly battered turret dog (which can be improved by finding parts scattered around the entire subterranean world) and, by saying goodbye, went back.
Despite her age, Pam is a pretty strong monster, able to dispossess angry robots with her bare hands, but often she is not capable of such actions due to her soft nature. The former queen has a need to take care of someone (or something), because when she helps, she begins to feel needed, she lacked this for a long time in the company of rusty mechanical robots. However, this does not prevent her from being serious or even rude in most cases when it is required. Prolonged loneliness gave Pam frequent flashes of emotions that do not always lead to something good. But still, in many aspects, Pam perceives Jessie as a very close person, maybe even as her own child, and becomes very attached to her, which makes parting with every minute all the more unbearable. When Pam decided to go to the center of the city and look at the buildings destroyed by time (it took quite a lot of time), she began to realize that the past had to be let go, and, removing the heavy stone of responsibility, she went as far as possible in depth hoping to meet her child again.
