Standing at the window in his host's apartment, the man that seemed to be Ludger waited patiently for his guest to arrive. Now that he had control of the agent's body, the Shadow was rather looking forward to attempting to ruin the one thing Ludger held dear besides that wretched girl. After all, they both knew a monster who destroyed worlds didn't deserve happiness.
The door was left open for Jude to enter when he arrived.
"Are you sleeping already?"
There was a soft mumble from the bed in the darkened bedroom, before the familiar head of silver and black hair rose from the pillow, looking over to the doorway as teal eyes tried to fight away the dregs of sleep. That... that was Jude in the doorway, wasn't it? But he was meant to have arrived hours ago: Ludger had simply assumed his boyfriend was going to be a no show that night. He wasn't going to admit to the hurt he felt at the lack of contact to at least let him know what was going on, partly because he didn't want to start stirring things up, but partly because he was too tired to bother.
"A little... sorry, should've waited up for you..." The agent tried to stifle the yawn as he sat up, attempting to wake himself up for Jude.
[Call: Ludger] "...Hey, uh, are you maybe.. free, right now? I need to speak with you.."
Surprised by the tone in the medic's voice, Ludger nodded, before remembering Jude couldn't actually see him, "Yeah, I am... I'm kinda glad you asked... 'cause I need to talk to you too... where do you want to meet?"
"Look it's porridge! And it's happy to see you."
"I can see that." Ludger let out a light chuckle as he peered into the bowl in front of him, the face Jude had arranged the ingredients into smiling back up at him. "What brought this on though? I thought I was the chef here."
"Good morning. I hope you don't mind me borrowing your shirt.."
The morning after sentences
“I don’t mind at all, Jude.”—so says he with a tint of pink brushing across tense cheeks. The mere sight of his endearing lover donning his slightly oversize shirt refreshed the morning, especially with face embellished with such childlike, somnolent look.

Astonishment reigned over his features as his tongue was at the edge of flabbergasting at his contemporary encounter. Whilst such occurrence was of no queer phenomenon any more, to be at face confrontation with a mirroring counterpart would be written off as a shock to anyone, not precluding the typically poised researcher himself. "Well... this is a surprise."
