It is remotely possible that I posted too soon.
Yes, yes, I know. I’ve seen what’s been coming over the aetheric teletype. In my last post, I scolded Brayzil for not keeping their population of native griffons under control in the wake of an unprovoked street-mugging of a brave Equestrian athlete.
As it turns out, it is... remotely possible that Silverback may have not been “mugged” in the conventional sense. I am in no way implying that any intentional, premeditated “lying” occurred, but merely that there may have been a number of miscommunications and alternate interpretations of events. After all, what Silverback might have innocently (and accurately!) described as “mugging” might have been described differently (but no less accurately!) by other observers of the same situation. For example, it might sound something like “Silverback, an absolute moron in all areas of life outside the swimming pool, got himself stuck in the bathroom of a griffon-run convenience store, and elected to destroy the door rather than figure out how it worked; and when the store owners demanded he pay for the damages caused by his idiocy, he smugly refused until one of them threatened him with physical harm, whereupon he surrendered the contents of his saddlebags in the approximate amount required to fix the door he had just broken.”
I mean, at this point, any fool can see that we’re just splitting hairs and haggling over semantics. The gist of the situation remains the same.
