if you're not Brazilian you don't know the highs and lows of celebrating your birthday as a kid and waiting anxiously for the inevitable and terrifying moment other kids finish singing happy birthday to you.

Because then it starts. They will start singing happy birthday's evil twin, "com quem será?" (loosely translated as "who will walk [birthday kid] down the aisle?).

And the kids will spontaneously select someone in the group to be your bride/groom. If you like someone in class or in your friend group (or they like you) this will likely be revealed, and kids tend to know even if you haven't told a soul. So shameful and it happens when you're teen too which is worse in my opinion ashsahas
