Post-surgical revision. One month later.
Left still hanging (floating?) in there, immobilized, looking flawlessly smooth like a cupcake or a Barbie boob. Right side was building scar tissue and had some lumps under the surface. Lumps were removed for biopsy (just in case) on June 8, and the implant was replaced with a slightly smaller one. One month later, I'm finally able to stop wearing surgical bras I've been rotating since mastectomy last fall. This is great because it's 100 fucking degrees outside and they love to make post mastectomy bras from the cheapest, least breatheable compression spandex on the planet. I felt like I was wrapped in plastic. And it feels really weird now that it's summer and I don't have underboob sweat. That's because they still sit on my chest like halved cantaloupes. Supposedly they will settle within the year.
