“Depends on what you need fixed--but, sure, I can probably get the job done.”
If there was one thing Brigitte had learned all too quickly, it was that the life of a traveler rarely paid for itself; the money they operated off of had to come from somewhere, and it sure wasn’t Reinhardt’s particular brand of heroism - especially not when he turned down offers of rewards more often than not. More often than not, Brigitte made an effort to keep money in their pockets by setting up shop on the road, offering mechanic work out of the back of the van.
The actual success of her business varied - only so much a person could do with mostly scrap, a few old tools, and a huge suit of armor taking up most of her workspace - but the best clients were almost always the other travelers. Folks who needed a job done but couldn’t be expected to have the resources to do it themselves, wanted it done fast and couldn’t afford to waste time hunting down the nearest mechanic who would likely be hours away.
