Depends entirely on what you’re wanting to use your blog for. If you know you’re going to be reblogging, commenting, and making non-art posts that you don’t want associated with your art then you should make an art side blog. If you’re not going to/don’t care about having other things on main you can just use the main blog for art.

I'm thinking what I'm gonna need to focus on is a blend of the two. I use my main as an accurate representation of the entirety of who I am as a human. Naturally my art is a big part of that, so my feed ends up being a menagerie of inspiring reblogs, thought posts, the like, alongside my art. I can understand if folks don't want to have to go to extra lengths to filter out only the art that I've made from the other noise, so I figured I could post to my main and reblog on my side.
