alright, buckle up.

it's a pairing of Sea Fairy and Longan Dragon Cookie from cookie run, and right now you will hear the story i've written in my head for them.

i also made art

my main reasoning for the pairing was "oh wait their legendary costumes actually look good together", and only then i realized that their stories fit too. so, i'm writing this from the perspective of their Warlord of Eternal Rest and Dread Trident of the Abyss costumes.

So, Longan Dragon's plans were successful, and now there is no cookies on this land. What's next? They're alone, with no one else on this land. Even their dragon family is either dead, or left this place forever. Nothing left, but ruins.

Lost and hurt, they go underwater, to maybe put themselves into eternal sleep once again. What's the point of being a lord of lifeless ruins?

And somewhere at the bottom of the ocean they see another cookie.

A flaw in their plan. A survivor.

It's Sea Fairy Cookie, who has lost all the hopes of reaching the moon.

Longan Dragon is conflicted—there is someone left, which means they're not entirely alone. But that someone is a cookie, so she must be inferior to the dragon.

So, they declare her a war. Maybe to prove that they're stronger, maybe to fix the only remaining flaw in their futile plan.

And they lose, because a single person cannot go against might of the sea.

Sea Fairy could've killed them, but... She's also incredibly lonely. No one has been able to reach her this deep. And this dragon isn't the moonlight she hoped of reaching, but the darkness of the abyss she grew comfortable with.

Longan Dragon, being defeated, pledged loyalty to her, to protect her forever in the abyss.

Somewhere in the deep, the dragon guards the princess.

tl;dr: two incredibly lonely people left alone in the world decide to be with each other
