Question to the Hunger Games fandom:
Why are Peeta's brothers so often given bread names? Are you aware that Peeta isn't how the bread is spelled, but a variant of the name Peter? The bread is pita. So I'm confused why so many automatically go to bread names when naming the brothers when there are dozens of other options. There are biblical names and variations therof. There are mythological names that would fit Suzanne Collins' formula (Cressida, Pollux, Castor, Plutarch, do you see?) and you still choose Rye? Maybe as a nickname for Ryan or something. But idk. It is your story and you are able to make your own choices, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Can someone explain?
