So last night's gig was interesting. After not hearing from anyone from my band for weeks, I was informed I had a gig in two hours, and ended up playing songs I don't even know.  Not even kidding, half way though our set the vocalist is like "This next song is a cover of a Parkway Drive song - Deliver Me/Us/Whateverthefuck. And I just looked at the drummer like "ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS"

I've played that song once in my life about four months ago and heard it probably never. And our other songs were equally as foreign to me, so  90% of what I played was just improv. Good organization guize.
