In the progress of preparing the girls breakfast boxes
So tired of coming up with new fancy ideas. Lunch boxes are so dull, and with Lilly only really caring for sandwiches with pâté makes it so much harder. She likes salami as well, but lately she refuse to eat that as well. Today she had two sandwiches with pâté, a soft tortilla with taco meat and topping, some biscuits and a smoothie. Leah is more adventurous. She had two sandwiches with ham, cheese and some greens, a tortilla wrap stuffed with taco meat and topping, some biscuits and a smoothie. Tomorrow's breakfast box: 1 hard boiled egg (not for Lilly as she hates egg) 1 roll with cheese and ham (Leah) and pâté for Lilly. 1 little "cake" 1 homemade juice
Breakfast box...
2 whole grain sandwiches 1 pancake with strawberry jam 1 yoghurt 1/2 chocolate muffin (they are quite big) 1 fish cake 1 hard boiled egg (not the egg yolk). Lilly's breakfast box doesn't contain egg as she absolutely hates it. Wednesday the girls have to stay 45 minutes extra at daycare due to meetings at work. So their breakfast boxes are quite big as I want them to eat something at 14:00 when they are served fruit at daycare. Just so I don't get them home starved. They only get ONE meal a day at daycare (lunch). So if they need food at any other time, it needs to be brought from home. We also have to bring one fruit or vegetable per child for their fruit meal.

Leah had the hump upon picking her up at daycare today as I apparently had forgot to put a treat in her breakfast box today. This is what she had in her breakfast box: 1 ham sandwich 1 sandwich with salami 1 bag of Ella's Kitchen smoothie 1 pancake with strawberry jam These little muppets are getting quite demanding. In her eyes this was just considered FOOD. Not treat... I don't know what she expected to find!
