Hungary Worsening Refugee Issue.
Made another post so as not to take away from the original haunting Holocaust reminder. But I think Hungary needs to grow the fuck up. Same for the US. I know it’s not easy to take on a huge influx of people in a country, there’s a matter of resources and more. But I believe it’s the peoples duty to help each other out and that is not happening in Hungary OR the US. People need help and instead we want to build fences and break asylum laws? Fuck that. Don’t attempt to lead a country if you can’t care for ALL people.
I don’t want to take away from the Holocaust here, I would merely like to remind others that there is a situation in Europe where a huge influx of refugees are spreading all across Europe in an attempt to flee war ravaged homes and need help. Hungary’s current situation with them is having a lot of issues. This is a time to aid them and fix past mistakes, instead of worsening the problem. What memento will be built for them?
As stated in an article above: “Europe after World War II went through this experience, so did Hungary and the Balkans so you’d expect an understanding from the countries of Europe – that when your life is in danger you will seek safety.”
