"Today I loved myself by weeding out those clothes I have been holding onto since high school. I am more beautiful when I love myself for how I am in this present moment. I am a woman, and have been since going away to college; those extra small tops and are not worth another thought of wondering if I'll ever be like that, if I'll ever be that thin again- no, in shape, I say! I'll soon be fit and in shape! Stop. It took 21 years, 3 months, and a boy asking for my number when I was in my baggy work uniform two sizes too big, hair back, with no makeup, to realize that I am a beautiful person for who I am. So don't ever tell yourself otherwise. Beauty is not a prototype. Beauty has no standards. Beauty, well, just IS. It's the way your mother smiles in the morning, mouth upturning to those familiar creases. Beauty is the way a child giggles at nothing but a silly joke. Beauty is what everyone but your reflection sees, so stop. Beauty is the confidence you feel when you love yourself. Today I loved myself by loving myself"
