If looks, brains & talent could kill, we’d all be DEAD. Prepare yourselves people! IVY LEVAN is about to take over pop music... and quite possibly the universe. 

Not since discovering P!nk have I been so obsessed with a musical artist who has everything you could ever ask for. Ivy Levan is drop dead gorgeous, has a sassy no-bullshit attitude, unique style and killer voice. 

At first glance you may think Ivy is just another pretty face some douchebag record exec saw an opportunity to profit off of. But no auto-tune here, kids. Levan has got raw, natural talent that goes beyond the fact that she’s ridiculously gorgeous. Not really what you might expect from a supermodel turned pop star.

The reason I bring up P!nk is because Ivy is a lot like her in regards to the type of superfan I become when I am addicted to an artist. This part of my personality is located in the same cranial section as my ego; meaning I secretly want the brilliant A-grade quality of these superstars all to myself, as a result of knowing about their awesomeness way before they become mega-successful and EVERYBODY is then obsessed with them. It took P!nk a good decade before she was finally selling out stadiums and going on two-year long world tours, but I was telling people from DAY ONE that she was going to be huge. As much as I wanted her to be successful and for everyone to know about the great gifts she contributed to the pop art world, I also needed there to be some kind of proof and evidence out there for her so that she knew I WAS AN ORIGINAL and the energy of my kind contributed to her becoming the unicorn that she now is.

Ivy is next. Check out the video for BISCUIT below. Her first single definitely put her on the map in 2015, but I think the next couple years are going to sling her up into the ranks of Gaga, Katy and Rihanna. Ivy’s vocals alone are reason enough for her to blow up, but the former model is proving with her interviews, online videos and branding that there is an ocean of creativity that comes along with her.

IVY LEVAN will be featured in my upcoming BEST OF MUSIC 2015: 10 FIERCE FEMALES WHO SHOWED UP AND ROCKED OUT and her debut album No Good is most likely headed toward my TOP 20 ALBUMS OF 2015 list.
