No, I do not live in America, no I have never been to a Police Station or have I ever been locked up, No I have never had someone called the police on me because I told them to put their dog on a leash in a public park, no i have never tried reaching for my wallet at a police check, no I have never just randomly tried asking a police a question, no I was not in Charlottesville, no i wasn't just trying to kneel in a peaceful protest, no i was not just going for a jog in my neighborhood, no i was never one of the central park five and NO I WAS NOT MURDERED BY A POLICE OFFICER WHO WAS ONCE MY FELLOW COWORKER. It was not me, I am here, this is me. But- to all the victims at the end of all the above mentioned, they are not here, but, we have one major thing in common, we have the same skin color and what that gives me is a free ticket to be in any of those DEAD victims position. Yes, it could have been me, and I hear you, it isn't me, but, they probably once said the same thing. If you are privileged to not ever be affected by any of this kind of madness and inequality, kudos to you, but, you do not get to be silent when the human race is which we all are a part of is not painted with one brush. To the ones that say "all lives matter" I hear you and I agree with you, but, all lives cannot matter if black lives doesn't matter. Simple maths dat you. We have to wake up and educate ourselves. It is OUR DUTY to leave a better world for the generation to come. This level of betrayal and abuse cannot continue to project into the world. P.s I do not support looting (but people is tired). When a man is denied the life he believes in, he has no choice but to become an outlaw.
