TANDEM FEEDING This was basically my life with the two of them until the eldest was 3. They had both stopped wanting feeds anyway, and only really wanted feeding every now and then before bed, or if they really hurt themselves it was a little comfort. I expressed inbetween feeds too, this is what I did from the beginning with my first son as I wanted him to be exclusively breastfed. I remember him going to his relatives for the day and I was told not to worry about taking any milk because they had bought formula. At the time I felt like I couldn't refuse the formula and repeat I wanted him to be exclusively breastfed. But with my second I was like a new woman, so confident in my abilities as a mother. I was like, nah not today hun! They are exclusively breastfed so throw your formula away 💁🏻♀️ My youngest actually refused the bottle until he was a couple of months old, the first time I had to be away from them he was only a month old. His dad had to feed him using a calpol syringe. Now to this day, my youngest is 3 and still loves my boobs. Everytime I would get changed he would be there to touch them and cuddle them (no joke) so now I use them to teach consent.
