James Turrell - Rain Room
LACMA
Our day at LACMA included some of the experiential art world's "greatest hits", James Turrell's Breathing Light and the Rain Room. What I like about experiential art is that it opens the art world to viewers that may not be including art into their current lives. Even if they are only going just to get that selfie, there's value in the exposure.
During our visit, the Rain Room was a little dysfunctional but still visually impressive, and Breathing Light was a more spiritual experience.
Both of these exhibits were an additional cost and required an advance ticket which you can get when you arrive.

i recommend going to see James Turrell’s Breathing Light at LACMA dude.
that shit was crazy and im sure even if i wasnt faded i’d still be as tripped out, probably less paranoid. FUCK somebody go with me again its free after 3!!!! i laughed, and i smiled, and i also felt scared. it was amazing!
