QUESTIONS!

1.  If you could slot yourself into any other life and any other circumstances, what would you choose?

Oo that's an interesting thought. Um... I wouldn't mind waking up several million dollars richer and enrolled in the graduate folklore program at the University of Oregon. 

2. Pick a character in your favorite fandom. IF you had to interact with them every day, would you still like them? Be honest.

Several of them would likely kill me, so, that wouldn't be ideal. Much as I'd like to curl up in front of Casablanca with Mitchell (Being Human), that would not end well for me. Pretty much ditto with Spike and any of the other fangy crowd.

I think I'd bore the pants off the Doctor or Sherlock (who wouldn't?) before they had a chance to bug me, but I think I could geek happily with Willow, Giles, Sam, or even Dean and still like them. 

Sorry, you said one character? Ha that was never going to happen.

3. Did you have a nickname as a child? What about later on? Explain and list.

Possum- when I was born, I still had baby fur (lanugo, I think it's called?), and pointy ears, so my mom called me Possum. I was also born on a full moon Friday 13th, which probably contributed to my middle name (Rahne, after a werewolf character in the X-Men: New Mutants)

Sunshine- my grandmother calls me this sometimes because of the "You Are My Sunshine" song. Sweet, but I'd rather be named after  a comic book lycanthrope than the drowned girlfriend of an old timey miner (Then again, I like that you call your followers Sunshine, Nea) 

Emiry- one of my friends in college started calling my Emiry when we were watching too much anime, and it's stuck with a few college friends. I think it's cute, if not 100% PC, and it was affectionately meant.

None really currently, but I like nicknames so I live in hope.

4. IF you could be any mythological creature, what would you pick?

I think being a selkie would be damn cool, except for that pesky forced marriage issue...

5. What color looks best on you? Do you have any particular requirements for your clothing?

Probably blue, since my eyes are blue? I like winter colors and jewel tones, and I have a huge yen for wool, suede, and leather. My sweaters should be cableknit, my coats must be long and fitted, and if I'm 900% happier and confident when wearing boots that come up at least to my calf. Clothes get bonus points from me if they look a bit historical, period costume-ish (my prom dress looked straight out of Pemberley), or subtly fandom-related.

6. If you could pick one animal to be, what would you choose?

A red panda! Or possibly a seal or wolf.

7.  Has your favorite childhood disney film changed?

Yes! When I was little I nearly wore out my Cinderella tape. Now it's Beauty and the Beast.

8. Do you have more good days than bad, or bad days than good? If you have a bad day, what do you do to feel better?

Huh. I have a lot of ok days. The pattern usually goes: coast through work mood-wise, feel pretty lonely and down on the way home, and perk up a bit while tumbling, knitting, catching up on TV, etc. Those last things make me feel better, clearly, but hanging out with friends is better.

9.  Would you rather be gifted all the things you want, or work for them?

Honestly? I'd rather be gifted at all the things I want. Sure I might get bored, but I kind of doubt that. I think I'd be too busy playing violin like a pro.

10. Do you have a favorite seasonal food?

Pumpkin pie. ^_^

11. Would you rather be taller or shorter?

I'm good with how I am, although I am kind of jealous of my super short female friends since our guy friends are far more likely to pick up/cuddle them. At 5'8," I don't come across as cuddleable most of the time.
