a bit rough around the edges, far more keen to pass along a biting word than to really be kind in any fashion, jaime has a tendency to be an acquired taste. coming from a rough childhood and an even rougher adult life, jaime came to sunshine valley around a year ago to give him and his would-be daughter (it's complicated), mina, a better life. one to be caught reading, playing the piano (in secret, of course), or helping mina with her homework, he struggles with forging bonds with other people. simply because trust is a hard prize to win when it comes to him. and he's far more likely to keep it locked away than he is to share it with just anyone. especially when a twelve year old is involved. what he needs: he needs a little bit of everything. he is a notorious flirt, especially when he has no intention of it going much further than that. he's the guy that shows up to parent/teacher conferences in ray bans, a leather jacket, and a surly attitude. it's very likely that he's already racked up a few ex-so-and-so's, and is open to new ones at that. i would like for him to form some type of friendships even if he has a tendency to be a little hard to read or really get close to, especially if they have kids, he needs help here, she's about to become a teenager. also someone help this asshole get a job, that new house isn't going to pay for itself after a while.
