//HELLO THIS IS ME REQUESTING INFORMATION ON SONIA'S RELATIONSHIP WITH EVERYONE most specifically Gundam for obvious reasons but I'm so curious about everyone ;w;
God bless!! Okay, I’ll focus on Gundam for the time being then, since this is probably the relationship other than the main three (aka Junko, Izuru, and Souda) that people are most curious about.
Sonia’s feelings are very mixed when it comes to Gundam. I think that during and after the time of the Hope Cultivation Project, in Hinata’s absence, she’d find herself relying more and more on Tanaka, given his position of her best friend. Meaning, he’d probably gradually see the change in her, steadily losing faith more and more when she forces herself to cope with the reality that Hinata may not be returning anytime soon—and particularly right after finding out that Hinata’s been replaced by the existence of Izuru.
Given that prior to despair taking hold of them both they shared a very deep bond, it is definitely not something that would just go away because she’s turned her back on society. As I said, her feelings are very mixed. While that soft spot for her best friend will still exist, Sonia intentionally isolates herself from the members of SHSL Despair due to refusing to associate. But while the others were easy for her to separate from, Gundam is one of the only ones she has second thoughts on—because it’s her inability to let go of the past that caused her to fall into despair, it’s only natural that it would be her past bond with Gundam that would hold her back as well. While she won’t openly socialize with him due to trying to keep her priorities straight and stay on target, he is the only one who she won’t completely look down on in disdain. Because in the end, while he does have a talent, Sonia knows she can’t bring herself to completely hate him. He’s the only other person besides Hinata who she believes has ever understood her and even in despair, loyalty is still of importance to her.

A simple package encased in brown paper and thin red ribbon is clutched in rather horribly shaking hands. The boy hesitates at the door before working up the courage to give two short knocks. Not even waiting for the entrance to open for him, he places the package on the ground before it and takes long, quick steps to distance himself from the door and the person inside.
A note is attached on top, and reads as so:
It has come to my attention that with the way you wear your hair, it is most likely difficult to find a hat for such cold weather that would fit. So I have taken it upon myself to present you with this. It may not look it, but I have made certain that it shall accommodate the horns you don so oft. Merry Christmas -- Gundam Tanaka.
By the time she opened the door, there was no one. The only sign that someone had been there was the package with the note attached,
Picking up the seemingly hastily wrapped gift, she skimmed the small piece of paper, her smile growing with every written word. It was...sweet of him, to get her something. To add on, it was something completely unexpected, but it was cute!
Almost immediately, she set the hat on her head, being careful to stuff those pesky horns in just right..and it was perfect. It was perfect and he was just much so for getting her such a gift.
"...I gotta pay him back somehow. This is too good a present to go unnoticed!"
