I was watching TADC with someone and they pointed out that if food doesn’t sustain the people in the circus, then they won’t last very long with the headsets on. They’ll starve to death… Which makes me think either time isn’t real in the circus or their consciousness was copied into it.

Lulu. @lulumooncrystal . Not because we listen to it together or anything. I will always love Spice Girls and this is one of my favorites. Lulu is my precious British bean. This song is catchy and upbeat and the message is about positivity and self-worth. Even though we don’t message constantly, we video chat every few weeks and she’s nothing if not a ray of fucking sunshine for me. Even if neither of us are particularly bright and cheery that day, it’s still a refreshing time talking to her. Sometimes she barely says anything and just lets me ramble for two hours about life or stupid shit and other times we have discussions about serious topics. We talk about our writing a lot, plans for upcoming chapters, reviewing previous work, stuff we wanna collab. It’s good. She’s a genuinely good human being with a pure soul and she must be protected at all costs.

Okay, here me out. I can’t think of “the best summer of my life”. They’ve all kind of been the same in my youth and as I’ve gotten older, summer is just really hot days I gotta be an adult in.

But MMPR will always remind me of the start of summer after 7th grade. I spent 3 days with a friend as soon as school let out. We swam in her pool, took walks, adventured around some abandoned quarry, and watched both the MMPR movie and the Turbo one because why the fuck not. And even though it resulted in the absolute worst sunburn on my shoulders/chest/back I’ve ever had (the one that now makes me gag at the sight of lemon lime Gatorade and cringe at the smell of tea), it was still a carefree few days in my youth that I wish I could have again… with sunscreen this time.

Early BSB will always remind me of being a kid. Singing and dancing in the bedroom with my sister, pulling out full page photos of our favorite boy bands and celebrities from Tiger Beat and Teen Beat magazines, driving our parents nuts with our music during drives for vacation. Not having a care in the world beyond collecting beanie babies, arguing with my sister, riding bikes, and why are you talking it’s two in the morning Furby shut the fuck up!

I kind of loved doing a CYOA story, and have an idea for another one. Would anyone be interested in that if I did? I only have the starting scene planned and the story would be more heavily vote based on what direction it could go in.
