The final episodes of Ashley's Look Back Diaries are difficult watches.
I try to avoid anything too negative on social media and particularly this blog--it's supposed to be about the joy!--but damn if I'm not angered by everything that went down with Bernie Su and the way the Pemberley Digital casts and crews were treated.
It's such a little microcosm of what's happening throughout the industry right now. It might seem like small beans compared to all the Hollywood labor unrest, but I'm a firm believer that we have to look at the small stuff if we truly want to fix the big. And injustice is injustice. I feel so sorry for what everyone, particularly Ashley and Brendan (as the leaders of various charges), had to go through.
God. Damn.
You go, Ashley. You fucking go.
