Solenn discreetly tugged down her mini skirt and shifted on her heels as she glanced around. She didn’t usually attend the Country Club event but with an invitation going spare and a day off, she decided it would be great fun. Ben’s departure had hurt, although it was expected. She had always known her feels for him were unrequited and she was quite determined to make sure she did not make that mistake again. No. The next time her emotions ran away, they better have a companion.

Glancing up, she smiled broadly, “Honey, may I say that looks stunning on you?” She gestured to the other’s outfit before stretching out a hand to snag a glass of chilled white wine. “How are you?”

Julia had been excited when Saaz agreed to come with her. They’d been so busy, her with school and him with work, that she didn’t get to see him as much as she’d like. But they still texted most of the day, called at night. So it was better than nothing. They both had today off though, so she was looking forward to spending as much time with him as she could.

After doing the rounds to say hello to her friends she grabbed two glasses of champagne and spotted him, walking over with a grin. “Missed me?” she asked, nudging him as she handed over one of the glasses.

Cyrus circled the vehicle and tugged open the passenger door before holding out a hand to his companion for the day. Folding his hand over hers, he accompanied her into the country club. The event was already in full swing, with well-dressed nobles enjoying the day that marked the official beginning of the spring season. At least for events. “Are you bold enough to brave the pool today, my wild woman?” He murmured for Annick’s ears alone.

Spring into Summer

Summer is fast approaching and that means Vannes Country Club is getting ready to kick off it’s summer season with the annual Spring into Summer fun day on  Saturday 9th May.

While the country club is open all year round this event marks the opening of the outdoor pool and the terrace area for the restaurant.  The event begins at 2pm and highlights include the tennis tournament, open to both singles and doubles, a mini 9 hole golf tournament and the fun gymkhana for those who ride.  Bring your swim wear for a dip in either the indoor or outdoor pool and enjoy the complimentary cocktails and barbeque which are on offer well into the evening.

All members of noble families are automatically enrolled in the country club.  While some will visit regularly and others avoid it, the Spring into summer event is always well attended and while the sports can become competitive there is plenty on offer to allow everyone to pass a few hours relaxing.

This is a whole rp event, however there is no need to let the main know if any of your characters will be entering any of the competitions.  The information is there to allow you to hc or discuss on the dash.

The event will run on the dash from Saturday 9th May until Tuesday 12th May and you can tag any relevant posts with the tag bretonspring2022.

Spring into Summer Event
