a clouded place

My heart has been so heavy with emotions for you. I just can't seem to get you off my mind lately. I miss you, I love you, I want to be with you. I'm beginning to experience my life without you and I don't really like it, and I know that it's only going to get harder and worse from here. The possibility of losing you forever, eats up my heart everyday that we're apart. Knowing that I may not be what you need reminds me that this may be the start of the end of a love has been stretched too far.

So do I express to you the deepest of my innermost feelings or do I allow myself to drift away because I know that I can't be with you without being with you? Do i suppress the love that I've tried to deny and rid myself of, in hopes that one day the reality that I hoped would never come true actually will and I will be able to honestly say, "I'm over you".

Or do I put myself out there, leaving my heart on the line hoping that you'll grab a hold of it before it's too late. That you'll realize that what we have is more than beyond just something small or cute, but is something so real and genuine that neither of us can deny the feeling that it brings to our hearts when we lock eyes and to our lips when we kiss.

In a confused and emotional state of mind, I say all of this to express to you just how much I love you and to hopefully release some of the weight that has been holding my heavy heart in a clouded place.
