When opening this ale, a strong aroma of coconut hits the senses, followed by a hint of roast coffee, leading one to believe that the coconut might be the foremost flavor in this beer, however, it is not.
With a very smooth and drinkable body to it, the main flavors in this ale are a mild bitterness from the hops, followed by strong, roast coffee, and finished with a subtle aftertaste of coconut. When paired with a light dish, such as fish, however, the coconut comes through as a great accenting flavor and finish.
