At last, our “February” Brew Day, albeit a few days late. We’ve been battered by snow and ice all month long, and finally it’s starting to turn in our favor. Look forward to another brew day later this month to make up for the delay.

Here you have a Heidelberg and Mosaic SMaSH ale. It’s currently fermenting with BRY-97 West Coast Ale yeast.

Also brewed were a Molasses-Taki Floor Kill Belgian Strong Amber Ale, and a Porter. Huzzah!

January brew day is in the bag!! I’m a little late getting around to posting this, I had a backlog of other photos to deal with... but here goes!

Jordinator knocked out a “Floor Kill Brown” with entirely Belgian Aromatic for the base malt, plus “a bunch of other stuff” and EKG hops. JD whooshed together an Irish Red Ale, and I cranked out a good, simple Dry Stout. All three got the royal treatment with Scottish Ale Yeast. We’re working up Febrewary’s recipes right now, so stay tuned for the next installment of A-Brew-A-Month, coming at you soon!!

Hey. This is our page.

We are three friends who brew beer, make good food, ferment vegetables, bake bread, garden, tinker, and a lot more.

In 2018, our goal is to hold ourselves accountable to brewing at least one beer each month - Which sounds easy, but we’re totally boom-and-bust brewers who crank out 25 gallons in a month, then take four months off for other distractions... So for us, it’ll be a challenge in diligence and followthrough.

Chances are, we’re going to wind up posting some other stuff here too, besides our next 12 beer recipes, so tune in and fill your glass.
