This pour over coffee recipe ensures a bright and flavorful cup of coffee by allowing you to control the brewing process. It's perfect for those who appreciate the nuanced and vibrant flavors of freshly brewed coffee.
Ingredients: 20g fresh coffee beans. 350ml hot water about 200F or 93C. Pour over coffee maker. Paper coffee filter.
Instructions: Bring water to a boil and let it cool down a bit until it's the right temperature. Place the paper filter in the pour over coffee maker. Run hot water over it to get rid of the paper taste. Throw away the rinse water. Grind the coffee beans until they are about the same size as sea salt. Make sure the ground coffee is spread out evenly in the filter of the pour over coffee maker. Set a timer and pour about 50ml of hot water over the coffee grounds, making sure to cover them completely. It's time for the coffee to bloom. Pour the rest of the hot water over the coffee grounds slowly and steadily, making a circle. Don't pour right on the edges of the filter; instead, take your time to pour evenly. Pour more hot water until you've used it all up. That's how long it should take. Let all of the coffee flow through the filter. It should take about two to three minutes to do this. Take out the pour over coffee maker and enjoy your bright and tasty coffee.
