A pandaren brewmaster monk doodle. He’s meditating and sleeping at the same time.
Man I wish I could get into Windwalker and play my main to 100% I just haaaaaaaaaaaaate the rotation and can’t get a hang of it. Mistweaving I am 100% on top of, its literally the funnest thing to do in the game right now. Brewmaster is kinda tricky but I can tank acceptably on it despite its huge dependancy on the healer/almost no self sustain. Hhhrghghhg dps in general is just so clunky feeling this xpac but I feel like a hindrance to playing with people when I monopolize a heal or tank role...
Minimalism
So, I was bored on WoW today, with some videos playing in a window as I played. YouTube served me up Bellular’s rather excellent summation of the Monk class in the current pre-patch.
I thought I hadn’t touched my Monk since Mists of Pandaria, but it seems that I at least got him through the initial get-your-artifact quest line, and had chosen Brewmaster. Because, you know, he’s a Dwarf. What else?
However his armor was truly fugly. It was the stuff you could obtain in the Legion pre-patch, all black and glowing Fel green. Bleh. I decided to spend a couple dozen gold on transmog, and nothing looked good. So I went with minimalism. All those big shoulder pads and bulky pieces and robes I had to choose from would, in my head anyway, interfere with is monk abilities.
As for the eyepatch, I was going for a headband, but every headband choice I had was either reminiscent of Rambo or Naruto. I was going to just choose nothing, when I saw the patch.
My cool Vodka Aunt Brewmaster, Eeira Ambrith, is level 41 now! Queue times for tanks in classic dungeon randoms are pure bliss. Leveling her has been so easy.
Working out vuhdo or whatever the healing addon is called and having Vivify on right mouse etc etc new keybinds has made mistweaving a BLAST. Once again so fucking happy I main a monk.
Even tho I have a special place in my heart for brew, and I’m my guilds OT in dragonflight
Tanked a 20, didn’t time but damn I’ve improved so much!!!
