So I guess the Brews Willis are just yet another brutally perfect band who gives away their cds for free and have a really cute bassist that gives awkward high fives that turn into handshakes.
Standing room only for Brews Willis at the Silver Dollar! Radical!
Epic night again tonight for music. I'm sticking close to home and gonna try and make 2 shows in the Shwa, Bored Mustangs and Brews Willis at the Diezel Room plus Ron Hawkins and the Stone Sparrows at Murphy's. Busy night!!! Hairy Hollers doing Wild Wing too, just stuff happening everywhere. Oh, and tomorrow night Thunderfunk comes to town, check them out, so much fun! Go Oshawa :)
If you're downtown tonight a really great Toronto band is releasing a new record, "Goodnight Sunrise". See video above, they're at the Elmo tonight, gonna be a sick show! And Bootleg Glory is rocking TO tonight and back at the Wingpit in Bowmanville tomorrow night.
This has been Daniel Greer's music recommendations for the weekend of this weekend. The DGB returns to the stage in Lindsay again this Tuesday and will be doing Ottawa, Peterborough, and Oshawa all in one weekend next weekend! Rock and Roll!

"Brews Willis “Ride the Island Baby”
This first video from Brews Willis makes you want to get outside, make bad decisions and party all day long. Aside from the song being catchy as hell, the video is aesthetically pleasing. With the Toronto skyline and CN Tower periodically shining in the background, hot girls in short shorts and beer, this video could definitely be dubbed the ‘summer anthem’ for young Torontonians."
