Pabst Blue Ribbon Selling for $44 dollars in China.
Before you even ask, there's no evidence that China is the mecca of hipsters. I can't think of a single explanation why PBR is sold at the equivalent price of $44 a bottle. You read that correctly, $44 a BOTTLE.
This isn't some special PBR you're having. This isn't some sort of unique version, this is the same stuff we reviewed a while back. The 1844 bottle is meant to signify the year it was established.
This is just unfathomable. I've had a few asian beers. They're extremely light but still have a better taste then the stuff they're selling in the over the top bottle shown to the left. Why the sudden worship of PBR in the east is occurring will never make sense to me. The only explanation I can think of is beer pong JUST got there... and they're going to be good. Have you seen them play ping pong in the olympics? No one tell them about flip cup.
-Cheers
