Barrhead School (et. al.) Announcement!

After a long, long morning of Carrd struggles and how-to video-hopping, we've got a website! Several, in fact!

All are still very obviously WIPs, featuring placeholder images from my screenshot graveyard only, and still a significant amount of placeholder text in some spots as well, but at least we've got takeoff! This is something that I'd been meaning to do for years.

The vibe is intended to be 45% professional, 45% campy, and 10% how do you do, fellow kids? lmaoo. I'm really happy with how they're turning out. I never thought I'd actually get this far with these projects...or be able to make myself a website when the time came.

Links have been added to the nav post as well. There's only so much to see, but most of the buttons should be working, so feel free to click around and explore! (And please let me know if anything seems like it isn't doing what it should haha.)

Activity Update

I got my notice today that my new placement will be ready for move-in on October 13th. As my EQ friends know, I live largely off-grid in the woods and currently don’t have my own internet.

My new placement will be largely the same, but I will have access to hotspot boxes which should give me at least a little more freedom to post, update my laptop, send files, etc. without having to travel for it.

My schedule will still be spotty and unpredictable, but when I’m available, I should be available to actually do more things!

(Big SHOULDs because we won’t know exactly how well anything actually works until we start trying it all out. Please don’t expect a smooth transition or anything too new and exciting just yet.)

The IN-STRIDE club opening, as well as on-property Barrhead and Access Eq leases, lessons, events, collabs, etc., have all been moved to January 2026 to take some of the stress off my plate while I move and catch up on what hasn’t been possible to finish here.

Health Hiatus: Update

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

Life has been extra chaotic lately as my PCA was fired by her company in mid-January, and I’ve been scrambling to find a new one to regain my access to food, laundry, library wi-fi, etc. since then (without the insurance or legal status to qualify at any other agency in my very rural county.)

Mutual aid is rarely a safe option for me due to my background, and I’m very newly relocated to my area, and so I’ve been relying on my medication courier for most everything. I have food and formula, so please don’t worry, and she will be able to take me to the library eventually—but the weather has made its wheelchair entrance inaccessible for months, so we’re going to have to wait for spring before we can knock that off of the list.

I do plan to start posting and queuing posts again soon; I just haven’t been able to do much with laptop now that it’s several updates behind and most of my scarce free time has been solely focused on finishing my EQ Olympics entry & the first of many, many, too many bonus posts.

2025 plans for Barrhead School and the IN-STRIDE club will be drawn up sometime in March, provided that the weather starts cooperating a bit more.

Thanks to everyone who’s been waiting on me for imports/simports, markings, or builds for being patient, and I hope that everyone else is having a smoother start to the new year!

New Simblr!

Or, this actually isn’t going to be my real RP/blog-style simblr, but it will be where I keep all of my behind-the-scenes, CC-making, CC finds, WIP, tutorial, etc. stuff while I'm in the process of making my world, and to me, that’s close enough. I’ve never actually used Tumblr properly before, so I’m still learning how to do all of this. I also have to travel for internet access on my laptop, and so anything that isn’t easily accessible on mobile is going to have to rely on my ability to do that. This page won’t be ✨pretty✨ for a while.

My name is Stevie and I’m a TS3-only player in the equestrian community. I started playing The Sims in 2021 and absolutely fell in love with the access that it gives me to things that are otherwise out of reach as a disabled person. I’ve found a ton of acceptance and respect within the community so far, and I’m very excited to branch out into the Simblr world! I do stay very careful about the kinds of content that I interact with, but please feel free to interact if you’re another SFW S3 player—especially if you’re also new to the site, or another equestrian simmer! I’m really looking forward to making some new friends here! 🌱
