Brian just realized that Larius didn't scavenge Warden armor, like Carver suggests, but that he's down there for his Calling. That seemed to get a reaction, to say the least. Of course, now he's calling Larius "Ruck 2.0" so back to random snark, I guess...
LOL at Brian trying to tactically gauge this battlefield before activating the obelisk and summoning the "dragon boss" (his name for Malvernis cause he never reads the codexes and I told him there was an "optional dragon fight" there; at least he gets that "optional fight" here equals boss). And now he's getting pissed at Varric because no one's fucking holding position and Varric just keeps following him around while he tries to get set up for the fight.
EDIT: LMAO Brian switched to Carver to make sure he was doing the right tactics AFTER starting the fight and Hawke's already dead before Brian can open the menu. *dies laughing*
Little brat shouldn't have been talking shit about "are you sure I shouldn't have done this DLC earlier it's way too easy" earlier on.
Okay, Brian's got the Warm Orb (and the Key, but I don't think he's locked in yet, but he's got a save in place just in case he is) so time to go make him fight Malvernus. At least then he'll have a chance to actually use the traps in the courtyard he loved so much.
Brian!Hawke vs the first half of Legacy
Brian: NO I DON'T GET IT WHY ARE THERE PARAGON STATUES HERE WHERE THE CARTA DWARVES ARE WANTING MY BLOOD? Me: Just keep going. Brian: You said this was a Deep Road entrance, though. Me: The dwarves built the Deep Roads. Brian: That doesn't explain why the hell they have some temple like Ra's Al Ghoul's place in here. And that looks like up. How can it be up if it's in the Deep Roads? Me: Just keep going. Brian: Why did I have to bring Anders, again? I don't see any Warden stuff so far. Me: Just. Keep. Going.
Brian!Hawke, Anders, Carver, and Varric are trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with the carta and Brian!Hawke discovers the crazy-ass spike trap in the courtyard. He seems very upset that he didn't get to use the trap in the fight and keeps just playing with it now.
Okay, I think I've talked Brian into going back and doing at least Legacy, if not also MotA, before he takes a chance on kicking Anders out of the party for good. He'll probably take Anders and Carver with him on Legacy when he goes, but he's kind of conflicted on it cause Isabela is his death machine and he wants her there, too.
Looks like Brian's starting up his DA2 save. Well, one of his saves. Since he plays, and saves, on every option so he can go back and pick his favorite it'll take a little while for him to figure out which is the "right" one. In this case, he's trying to decide if he's going to turn down helping Anders in Act 3 or not.
