Day 29; Mr. Brisk

December is approaching fast and steady, and that meant the association going from the G.O.A (Great Outdoors Association) to G.O.W.S.A (Great Outdoors Winter Sports Association)

Brian Brisk had the fine task of traveling elsewhere to set up winter games and showing off his mad skills while also maybe kinda letting others join aswell. Of course there was nobody else who could do a better job than him at this, as he is a very talented and skilled sportsman of the snowy kind, he was born and raised in the snow with his sister (yes he has a sister stop being surprised mkay) and of course he had to learn his skills to live and travel comfortably in that condition. In fact he was recruited into the association for his skill and his enthusiasm for the outdoors, no doubt about it, he even became one of the staff members and his surname was part of the catchy little jingle and everything! It was smart of them to take him in, they'd be stupid not to.

I mean, he's always been the best! His whole thing is being the best sportsman! If anyone were to beat him it'd be a devastating blow to his status, as if it could ever happen... Maybe if the other party cheated or even tried to spare his feelings-

HAHA noooooo that was one time- few times... Uhm... But they didn't count! None of them played fair and therefore weren't being good sportsman! Atleast he was fully honest, atleast he didn't manipulate anyone, atleast he was upfront about things and tried to put his best in every endeavor he encountered, and that was genuinely the honest truth, atleast he tries to be polite. His father had raised him well, afterall! It'd be a disappointment to him if he wasn't those things.

Brisk was being generous when spending his time on the weaklings below him, everyone is just so terrible compared to him (except children, they are rather alright, they are young afterall, can't fault them on that front), he was truly too kind when it came to digging everyone up from that avalanche... That he caused... By trying to jump off it to...

Nevermind, that should be a regular response to getting your ego bruised, no? That therapist was clearly lying when he said it wasn't and that he has some... "Personality disorder". Isn't it hard for some people to really care about others on a personal level? Doesn't everyone have to make a conscious choice to be nice? Isn't it normal to know you are the best and that everyone else is inferior? To expect everyone to know you are grand and deserving of praise? To become enraged when your greatness is questioned? To feel disgustingly horrible when you fall short of perfection?

Doesn't everyone feel humiliated and distraught to fail at even the smallest of things?

Is he really that different in that mindset? I mean- he is clearly and objectively the best sportsman in the world and his name should be said in praise everywhere he goes but... Don't some other people feel that same conviction if they seem so keen on challenging him?

Shouldn't an insult hurt so much?
