This might be an odd question, but do you have a favorite constellation (or story associated with a constellation)?
I’m a big fan of Corvus… KEKW I’m kidding I’m kidding, it’s not my favorite. I honestly don’t think I have one favorite. All of the constellations are so cool, and it’s nice to imagine the stars really are people watching over you from beyond. Stars are cool on their own, but myths make them even better.
If I had to choose only one though… There’s an old one, I don’t remember the actual name anymore, that holds the story of the first Player to free the End and earn wings. Very heroic tale, classic tale that everyone knows. Makes a vaguely person-like shape who has wings sprouting from their back. Could point it out, but the name has left my mind.
As a kid, I actually used to hope that one day I’d eventually be a part of the night sky too. I had no idea how any of it worked, thought all the myths about people actually being held within the stars were real, ya know? Seemed logical enough to be true to a little kid. I mean, it might be true, I wouldn’t know. I haven’t died. It’s a nice sentiment though, to imagine myself up there someday. Guess I kinda got my way with being able to fly and all. Probably the closest I’ll ever get to being a part of the night sky.
