hello ^v^Ā
this is a silly little roleplay/askblog for Hardcore!Philza (from Philzaās Hardcore Season 4 lore)
read all the stuff below before following or sending asks please :]
[His hair is too long again.
It trails past his shoulders and down his back, falling into his eyes even when pulled back. He looks at his reflection in the water around his base and sighs.
Another year gone by. Whoās to say how many days itās been.]
I found a few things buried in the sand. Had to do a little digging to get them out lol
Think I might go to Endlantis again today. See what else I can grab now that I know what Iāve been finding
[He puts the golden rings on one of his many shelves instead of putting them back into the chest. They sit in between a few mugs and a small plant.
It feels right to put them on the cluttered shelf.]
I donāt know why Iām so surprised that Endlantis used to be an actual city.. Or why itās bothering me in the slightest. The war ended ages ago.
.. I think Iām just gonna head back to the base now
You will not find me in the throne room today. I cannot let my people control the borders of the void alone forever. Clearly. You are here and I did not hear about it before you touched down.
You smell of salt and sulfur today, are you bringing me news? If not, you may have to do with He today; my duties for the time are with ensuring that the Ender Kings actions do not have further consequences for my people. Also, stop flinching. You need to watch your back better, that's not a weakness you should make quite this obvious.
Fuckin-! [He jumps into the air, enough for his elytra to briefly pop up again and slow the short fall.]
Your Highness. [He bows, pretending he didnāt jump nearly as high as he did.]
Itās good to see you. Even if you always manage to sneak up on me⦠Literally how are you so quiet despite being so tall? Anyone would flinch if a deity snuck up on them.
And I uh, Iām not exactly here to give you news..? There is nothing to report once again. Everything seems okay in the Overworld. I have a question for you actually... If you have the time, of course.
Youāre mistaken. Most people I sneak up on would not get the chance to flinch.Ā
[She turn and exchanges some incomprehensible words with an approaching blaze, who rushes off again.] It seems I have now been informed of your arrival. I have also been informed that several of your birdflock have been apprehended in the beehive, trying to incite trouble. Youāre free to pick them up from there. Or donāt, itās the same to me. Some soldiers would eat well this cycle.
But you say you have a question? Ask, and Iāll know if I have the time.
⦠Right.
Iām not picking those crows up. They know better than to fuck around here. Thatās on them.
[He pulls out the various gold rings and other various broken golden chains. Some of these things look like they used to attach together. A few rings have something etched in another language along the edges. Itās far too weathered down to read it all anymore .]
So I know itās a long shot, but do you know why these were in Endlantis? I find stuff like this everywhere.
And like.. gold is usually your thing and these were in the water. Some buried in the sand too. Maybe you know?
.. I donāt know. They seem a bit small for a god like the Ender King to care about taking them I guess?
You guess correctly. The Ender King did not take these, but his subjects did. The desire for thievery extends from the god at the top through all those beneath him. What you are holding are simply the remains of all those Endermen who lived and died surrounding their King.
All they took was clustered in that city... It housed their most prolific thieves, persistent troublemakers, and brutal invaders. Knowing that, after all they took, the gold outlived them and will continue to do so... it does lighten my spirits after all. If you wish to talk further, I will answer your questions. Consider it a favor.
[There is nothing but a conflicted look on his face as the Empress speaks.]
[Itās silent for a beat too long.]
... There was a whole civilization living in Endlantis? I thought.. it was only Ender on that island
[The Blaze Empress does not register his silence, or she doesnāt care.]
The Ender King would have never been content with only being worshipped from afar. There was a city there, yes. It took up almost the whole island, filled with endermen- almost exclusively so. Enders operations required a lot of manpower, and the city provided it.
It was a reason why the war ended up being so dangerous- a game of numbers. He had a lot of people willing to die for him, and so they did. Good riddance too.
[She looks towards the crystal suspended in the middle of the void. The silence continues for a moment.]
...I will admit, I only saw what became of the city once, shortly after the war. I thought there would have been more left of the structures, but I gather thatās not the case, then?
No. I guess not. Only.. these things remain. Trinkets and whatnot.
[He holds the various gold things a little closer to his chest, running his fingers along the markings etched into the sides. If asked, he wouldnāt understand the sudden need to make sure he keeps them either.]
It makes sense I guess. Not like the End really gets much water in the first place. Things wouldnāt be built to last a flood..
Gold just lasts longer in the water than other things. Itās a shame about the rest of the city.
[He tucks the various gold pieces back into his satchel. He looks as if he might be holding his tongue, a wary look in his eyes. There is so much he could say. So much he already wants to say.]
Thanks. For answering my question.
Donāt hold onto this history too tightly, traveler. Monuments are for the living, and no Enderman will ever return to Endlantis. The flood did what was necessary for this world and we can all move forward thanks to it.
[She pauses, throwing a glance to the side, her hand on the weapon on her hip. Her expression softens a bit as she looks back at the man.]
I am not just speaking as a callous victor here. The Endermen will need to move on too, and they will do so, if we allow them to forget their loss.
[Her brow furrows as she looks out into the void again. Some citizens of the Quartress have accumulated at one of the floating islands.]
...I am needed. The void is tearing up. I recommend you leave now, traveller. You may return the stolen gold, or you can keep it, if it is of use to you. Your reports will continue to be appreciated.
[Turning, her form bursts into bright flame that quickly dissipates in the dusty air of the castle garden.]
[He nods as she speaks, still reeling from the new information. He doesnāt know how to feel, but a small twinge of regret pulls in his chest at ever asking about the gold.]
[He is silent as he turns and walks away, footsteps echoing against the quartz.]
You will not find me in the throne room today. I cannot let my people control the borders of the void alone forever. Clearly. You are here and I did not hear about it before you touched down.

...you're not really going to let the blaze empress' soldiers eat us right? dadza? you're going to come and pick us up soon right smile
Yeah I think you know the answer to that
