OUCH! Farrah Abraham's Alleged Boyfriend Speaks Out
If you've been watching Couples Therapy this season, you know Farrah Abraham is still trying to prolong her 15 minutes of fame. I realize that sounds harsh, but she is on the show ALONE! There has been a lot of speculation as to why she's flying solo on a show for couples. Abraham claimed that her then-boyfriend, Brian Dawe, was supposed to show up to the house to go through therapy with her. Her latest claim is that he had a mental breakdown & that's why he didn't make it. Brian has a totally different story. Since the show started, Dawe has been vocal about why he's not there. His reason? Their relationship was fabricated. Brian took to twitter to tell his side of the story: "Who would have a mental breakdown over Farrah Abraham? IT WAS NEVER REAL. I have a REAL girlfriend and I didn't do the show because I had ethical issues with LYING to America. The network tried to convince me to LIE and I refused. I turned down $30k for my morals. I survived cancer, the death of my father, and much more. I have toured the world and been on a REAL reality show. And she thinks that after all that meeting her for 24 hours would give me a "mental breakdown." This woman is a joke and the laughing stock of society. So to clarify I DID NOT have a "mental breakdown". I passed on a trashy TV show because I have morals and won't lie to the American public." If you still don't know who to believe, Brian posted an email between himself & someone we presume works for the network: Well... this isn't the first time Farrah faked a relationship for fame. BRIAN SHARES MORE INFORMATION
A few days ago, the new season of VH1's Couples Therapy premiered. (Did anyone watch it? I tried, but after about 2 minutes of Farrah, I couldn't watch anymore.)
On the night it premiered, Brian answered some questions from people, including the question:
"Are you afraid or worried that anyone will try and come after you for telling the truth?"
To which Brian responded. "I am a little concerned about that. I am hoping by being so public about it that nothing bad will happen. I have had threats. I received a letter from Viacom lawyers that said they would take legal action against me if I didn't show up, even though I never signed a contract. We had planned on signing the contracts the day I arrived. Thank God I didn't sign it earlier."
Thankfully for Brian, he didn't sign a contract, so he should be ok. However, big companies with lots of money and expensive lawyers have a way of finding loopholes.
I THINK THE WHOLE THING IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, AND ALL GOES BACK TO FARRAH. WAY TO GO, GIRL.
FARRAH LEAVES US LAUGHING AGAIN
Ok guys. You know how much I dislike Farrah. There's always things to report about her, attention whore, but I try to keep it to a minimum. However, this piece of information is hilarious! (Add it to my file "Farrah is pathetic" will you?)
Remember Brian Dawe? Her boyfriend of a few months? He was supposed to go on Couples Therapy with her, but left her in the airport, so she appeared on the show alone?
Well, due to all the media attention, Brian has finally opened up, and you will be shocked (or not so much) by what he has to say...
“Farrah told me to lie to the network and tell them the relationship was real. The network offered to pay “a substantial amount of money.” I got myself in this situation because I was only thinking about the profit I would be making from doing this show. That was wrong. In the back of my head I realized I could not participate in a TV show that would further exploit Farrah, and where I would have to lie to be involved.” Brian goes on to explain that the photos of them were part of a staged photo-shoot. “I had no idea what these photos would be used for, but assumed it would be for her to promote or market our relationship. She told me after the shoot that she sells the photos to various tabloids… I was astonished at the amount of media coverage it received.”
At this time, Brian was still playing along with Farrah's plans, and was ready to stage their relationship for her Couples Therapy fame (and his paycheck). But then something inside him changed.
"I checked my bags and got into the airport security line. When I was in that line it really hit me what I was doing,” Brian said. “I stepped out of the security line and made a life changing decision to stand up for what I believe in and turn down the check I would be receiving for my appearance on this show.”
He then sent this e-mail:
After this, Brian says that the Couples Therapy team offered him an additional $15,000 to re-consider, which he turned down.
So what's happened since then??
“I have not spoken with Farrah since she sent me a text after I did not show up on set saying she wishes me all the best and to take care.” (So we can assume everything in Farrah's segment of Couples Therapy is 100% fake. Watch the extended trailer here: http://www.vh1.com/video/misc/990787/couples-therapy-season-4-extended-preview.jhtml#id=1719578) “I believe the producers are claiming they hired an expert to try to justify the story line,” Brian said. “The producers knew this relationship was fake. I notified them that it was not real before taping began. I really hope that the producers didn’t tell Dr. Jenn Berman they had this knowledge, and if they did inform her then there are some serious ethical issues with that situation. My only purpose for coming out against it is to clear my name and to take a public stance against the culture of exploiting people through reality television and the media. Reality TV is about as far from reality you can get.”
I just want to say...Props to Brian for standing up for what he believes in, and standing up to Farrah and Couples Therapy corrupt fame whoring.
On the other hand, my lord, Farrah. How low will you stoop? How pathetic can it get?
