It’s not a feeling that ever lets up. Regardless of the passing of time, he still feels a bit hollow inside. Like part of him was broken. Missing. Each day was the same sort of monotony. The same nauseating kind of feeling of being alone, but there was nothing he could do about it beyond smile and carry on as though he didn’t feel the loss of the other man. Never quite living. Merely existing in the aftermath of losing the man he loved more than life itself.
