a bio a day ; madison foley
madison louise foley has grown up knowing exactly one thing: appearances are everything. the daughter of an overzealous conservative mother and father, she’s spent most of her life in her older sister logan’s shadow, rebelling in quiet ways to compare with logan’s outlandish behavior. a cheerleader in high school, madison fell in love with the one person she wasn’t supposed to: her very best friend. though the two shared a night at cheer camp one summer, it was never discussed, and by the time they went to college, the two had drifted too far apart to truly come back together. after graduating from a state university, she moved in with logan and her husband, hoping for a break from their midwest family on the east coast. originally, she had hoped it would give her the courage to come to terms with who she believes she really is, though so far she hasn’t had any luck. the only person to potentially bring her out of her shell - and her closet - would be her very best friend, darby. after meeting in college, madison fell head over heels for the brash girl, and while darby has no qualms about acknowledging her own sexuality, madison is still struggling with her own. she knows that it’s 2018 and she has no reason to hide her attraction to women anymore, but the fear of her parents disowning her has kept her in line - even from 1,000 miles away. though she’s tried dating boys in the past, it never made her feel comfortable, and instead, she now focuses solely on herself, her future, and supporting darby’s band by watching from the sidelines as often as possible.
