RICHIE & BILL

I read one of my friend’s bichie text a while ago, and I couldn’t stop thinking how their dynamic — I mean, Richie and Bill’s, — differs from Richie and Eddie’s dynamic in reddie. It’s so odd, really; I read such a beautiful and hot and very romantic, well-written text, bichie text… and I’ve just fall in love in reddie MORE. How did it happen?? Like, it makes me wonder how much space and independence there are in bichie’s relationship, and how hard it is for Richie sometimes (most of the time??) to fill those ‘gaps’ (because he always does so, you know; after all, Richie is Richie and he can’t stand silence), or to deal with them in the first place. And how Richie needs someone who needs him more than he does (family issues, hey!); how he needs that need from another person, needs to feel himself wanted — by his friends and, especially, his partner. And I think that’s what only Eddie can provide, fully.  Bill, on the other hand..? He’s just fail to understand that part of Richie… Or I’m wrong, and he understands but still — he’s in a world of his own. As most authors — novelists — are.  So bichie for me looks a bit like a hot-cold relationship, like that lack of mixer (faucet?) in some British (and sometimes Irish) sink you know?? With two separated taps. They had hot sex life, really really good one but rational life together; and a lot of privacy in many spheres: work, hobbies, etc. And, yep, a lot space in-between.  And reddie… Even if their relationship sometimes looks like a contrast shower with their unstoppable banter and hurt-comfort mostly always they are shower after all; warm (and fluff-ish) or less warm if needed but far too easier to change the water temperature.
