THE LARGEST BRICK CATHEDRAL IN THE WORLD.
Its so-called southern Gothic style distinguishes it from cathedrals like Chartres, Reims, Amiens which are contemporary to it. Its austere and defensive allure is affirmed by its dimensions. That we arrive, by the road from Toulouse, Rodez, Millau, Cordes-sur-Ciel, the Sainte-Cécile cathedral, is there, as posed on the city, massive and proud, dominating the Albigensian roofs.
The philatelic object which is proposed to you is a souvenir souvenir of the cathedral issued in 2009 by France. The item for sale appears on the first view:
It includes two A4 prints on which the souvenir envelope has been deposited, as well as the souvenir sheet revealing a detail of a painting of the vault with which it is adorned, and which represents an angel with a trumpet.
