Digital recorders are good for that! You can find one at any retail store for less than $25.
the lectures i go to are actually recorded into audio podcasts so i wouldn't have to record it myself! but the recording system has been really crappy as of late so recent podcasts are mostly just silence or white noise -.-"

I guess, probably my glasses? which are Michael Kors, woa. They didn't cost as much as you'd think they would, ahha. I also have a MacBook and an iPhone, which aren't the newest models, but I guess pretty fashionable anyway!
