The Chilehaus in Hamburg was built in the early 1920s. Its brick expressionism style evokes a ship per the request of a shipping magnet, who got rich doing business with Chile. For some reason I spent more time around this building this week than I have in years. However, now I think I should make a point to bring a camera during the day and take more detailed photos.
