What if bridge trolls were replaced with an EZPass system where you had an app on your phone with a daily riddle or wordle or whatever you had to solve so you could use the EZPass; otherwise, you have to pay at the booth?
I can’t believe I forgot to post this here.
In December I was on twitter whining about how I wanted to draw something for King’s Quest but didn’t have any ideas. Then whoever runs The Odd Gentlemen’s twitter suggested I draw one of the bridge trolls.
So I dropped pretty much everything to get on that because wow.
You know gets a bad rap? Bridge trolls. I mean, the ones that want to eat you are bad, fine. But the ones who keep control of and protect a bridge and don't let you pass unless you pay a fine? What's the extreme hatred there?
I'm not saying it's extremely altruistic, but they're pretty much exactly the fantasy equivalent of modern day toll booths, and I don't see anyone challenging toll takers to death matches....
